
Jean Fisher graduated from the University of Idaho Law School in May 1989. That same year, Fisher began working with the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. In 1997, Fisher was appointed the Supervisor of the Crimes Against Children/Sexual Assault Division. In this capacity, Fisher led a group of stakeholders to develop standardized protocols for Drug Endangered Children exposed to methamphetamine that coordinated response by law enforcement, paramedics, the Department of Health and Welfare and the emergency rooms of both St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and St. Luke's Regional Medical Center. Fisher was also involved in developing standardized protocols for imminent danger response for children born exposed and/or addicted to methamphetamine;
Fisher and her husband, Nate, live in Boise, raising two boys and a dog.
