I started using drugs when I was 10. My mom was a really big drug dealer at the time and my dad divorced her because of it. I was living with my dad and little brother and I wanted to go see my mom so we went to San Diego to visit for the weekend and my dad didn't want to leave just cause he didn't trust my mom. Well that night my mom and I stayed up talking all night and then this guy came over at 3 in the morning and my mom said he was a guy from church, but I didn't believe her. She walked to the back room with that guy and came back out and I knew that something was wrong. Well the next morning my mom my little brother my dad and I went to church and me and my mom got baptized. Well we were walking out of church my dad and brother were about 20 feet behind me and my mom and I noticed this guy parked across the street in a black suburban. He got out of the suburban and started to run toward my mom and that's when I saw that he was holding a gun and it was aimed at my mom. The guy said to my mom, "where's my money?" and before my mom could answer he killed her. I fell to the ground with my mom and I watched my mom bleed to death that day in that church parking lot.
The reason my mom was killed that day was because she owed her meth dealer over 30,000 dollars. I miss my mom. Why did she have to go and start using meth, why?
I am 16 years old now without a mom. And I wish she could be here to watch me go to prom and to watch me graduate high school. But meth runs your life and it ran hers and eventually it caught up with her.
All I can say is if you use meth you will die and you want to be there for your kids. If you can't do it for yourself do it for your kids.
I have been out of rehab now for 3 months and I have been clean for 168 days and I am keeping it strong.
