I have been sober for 8 years now. I had a problem with meth as a teenager and early 20s. I remember telling my mother that I was going to die a junkie that my life was over, I remember finally hitting rock bottom, I was in an abusive relationship. I had twins and was pregnant with 1 on the way. Finally, the neighbor above called the police because of banging on the wall. Boyfriend had a gun and was banging the door down. I remember yelling at him, if you kill me, you kill your child!! Finally the knock at the door came. Two police officers, my heroes!! I got the opportunity to get out of that relationship!! My children and I are doing great, I am drug free!! Sadly the boyfriend is dead, but we have moved on! I know that being under the influence of meth can make you feel like your life is ending!! It is ending, please you have the opportunity to get off of it and do it!! There is not a day I do not feel what it has done to me, but I know you can heal from Meth; I am a living example, sober for 8 years now!!!
