The Idaho Meth Project has received many powerful stories on our Web site about Idahoans' personal experiences with Meth. Visit Real Stories to read these stories and share them with students in your classroom.

Blackfoot High School
To increase awareness about the Meth problem in Idaho, Blackfoot High School Natural Helpers sponsored an activity during lunch. Great Harvest Bread Co. donated 35 loaves of bread and individual slices were given away in return for students signing a pledge to remain Meth-free.
Boise High School
A very motivated and energetic Boise High School student has organized an awareness event and fundraiser to benefit the Idaho Meth Project. The concert, hosted at The Venue in downtown Boise, features local high school rock bands that are donating their time and talent to support the cause. The evening event will highlight young speakers sharing their personal struggles with Meth addiction. The event was promoted by high school students and all proceeds from the concert will help sustain the Idaho Meth Projectıs statewide prevention and public awareness campaign.
Idaho Falls High School
Idaho Falls High School highlighted the problem of Meth in Idaho by writing a story in their school newspaper about the Idaho Meth Project , the 2007 Meth Use & Attitudes Survey, and Meth in our state.
Lake Pend Oreille High School
Lake Pend Oreille High School held a March Against Meth walk and marched across the Long Bridge in Sandpoint, ID to raise awareness about methamphetamine.
Les Bois Junior High
A Les Bois Junior High student is selling "Not Even Once" wristbands on her lunch break to fellow classmates for $1 each. All proceeds benefit the Idaho Meth Project.
Lewiston High School
Lewiston High School is conducting their Meth awareness program in phases. First, they will hang posters all over the school to get their students talking about Meth. They will then sell Not Even Once wristbands for $1 each, followed by having speakers who have been effected by Meth talk to each grade level individually. Toward the end of the school year Lewiston High School plans to organize a fundraiser to support the Idaho Meth Project.
Melba High School
The first 50 students at Melba High Schoolıs Safe and Drug Free School sponsored Friday night activity -"That Thing on Friday Night" - received a free Not Even Once wristband to demonstrate their commitment to remaining Meth-free.
Orofino High School
Orofino High School played the Idaho Meth Project television ads on their morning announcements to increase awareness about the Meth problem in our state.
Pocatello School District
After hearing a presentation about the Idaho Meth Project, a group of students from different high schools in the Pocatello School District designed a campaign to Rise Above the Influence of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. This campaign included a flag design contest, with the winning flag flying at Pocatello City Hall, in Washington D.C., and at the state capital in Boise. The campaign was so well received that students in Pocatello decided to play tag with an urban and rural school in the state to design a campaign of their own. Throughout 2008, many schools in Idaho will be able to organize their own campaign to rise above the influence of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, and Meth.
